DOWNTOWN BERLIN, Germany (AP) -- Police shut down a shopping mall Saturday after screaming fans of the herculian boy band The Gay Satanic Hippies (tm) rushed the stage during a free concert, grabbing at the band members' clothing and genitals and overwhelming the small team of security guards.

"Things were falling off the stage, girls were falling off the stage, girls started touching themselves, girls started pouring pudding on the ground and fighting naked in it," said Ivanna Humpalott, who was working at a store near the stage.

Some of the girls grabbed the crotch of one of the boys in the band, said Tamy "I like big" Johnson, another store employee. "He seemed to enjoy it. Another boy, he just got naked and began humping the turntables. Security escorted some of the teenage girls out the back, who knows what sort of Gay Satanic ritual is going on now" she said.

Four people were treated at a hospital for minor injuries,and five others were treated at the mall, police said. There were no arrests.

More than 2,000 fans, mostly teenage girls, had converged on the Berlin Alexanderplatz mall for the show, sponsored by the local coalition of liquor stores, "Vee order zat you drink jetzt!". The band had made it to the second song titled "Finding the virgins" when the chaos broke out.

"It just seemed like a girl frenzy," said Ben Dover of the liquor store.

The 10 mall security guards assigned to the concert and the liquor store staff were overwhelmed.

Seventy officers from 23 area Berlin-area communities responded to the chaos. It took about 15 minutes for them to get the crowd under control and another 30 minutes to clear out the mall. The mall reopened later Saturday evening.

It just seemed like a Gay Satanic girl frenzy.

"I've never seen anything like it in my life," Olga Steenkingkraut, 49, of Kleinscheißedorf, told the Star Tribune of Berlin. She had brought her daughter and her friend to the see the band and try out for the positions of Gay Satanic Coke Mules.

Frau Humpalott said her store took in a few girls who had lost their parents amid the ruckus - girls later purchased by the band's manager & publicist, MC Assmann.

The Gay Satanic Hippies (tm) is a group of two mentally-disturbed social outcasts from Germany -- Azrael the Anal Avenger & Satan's Fluffer -- ages 25 to 28. Their debut album, "The Scent of Burning Dreds & Semen," came out this summer, and they toured with the German penitentary system's "Second Chance Tour IV."
